With only one week to go until the summer recess ends and Formula 1 gets back onto the grid, at Spa Francorchamps, lets whet our appetite with perhaps the greatest ever start the sport has ever scene.
Let's drift back to 1998, to a very wet Spa.
13 drivers were involved in a pile up when David Coulthard's McLaren Mercedes careered into the role before bouncing back across the track. Tires flew, front wings disintergrated and carbon fibre rained down harder than the torrential downpour. Surprisingly, all but one driver made it on the restart grid, owing to the rule of the day that teams could switch to a third car if needed.
