Haas Racing have become the first team out of the blocks this year to reveal their 2018 car, in what is more an evolution rather than revolution. Given that we're into the second year of new regulations, drastic changes are not to be expected from any teams this year.
The 2018 Haas vintage, dubbed the VF-18, have somewhat taken inspiration from Ferrari, adopting sideboard features and incorporating a wider bargeboard.
Of course, the main focus is on the Halo safety device, introduced for the first time this year. In all honestly, the Halo doesn't stick out like the sore thumb many assumed it would be. At first glance, you wouldn't even notice the device.
Design wise, the Haas looks slick, with the team switching back to a red, black and white colour scheme replacing the grey look from 2017.
Williams are next up to launch their 2018 racecar, with the unscheduling planned for today (15th February), followed by Red Bull Racing's on Monday, the first in their new partnership with Aston Martin.
