Fresh from their technological and engineering agreement with Red Bull Racing, which will take affect from the 2018 season, Aston Martin is attracting serious attention from other teams, according to Autosport.
The British manufacturer are said to be 'encouraged' by the suggested engine regulations for 2021, providing that costs will be controlled. According to the article, work has already started on an Aston Martin engine, with Red Bull top of the queue to benefit from their F1 entry.
Other teams on the grid have expressed interest, however, and AM are confident that they can supply two or more teams if needs be should they decide to become an F1 manufacturer. Watch this space.
